What sets AMANAH apart from other eating disorders services?
Our service is inclusive and central to accommodate the health care needs of individuals who suffer from Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Obesity and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED) formerly known as Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS) and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).

We understand that the fear of what to expect can be frightful or challenging, we want to ensure that your journey to recovery is as respectful, accessible and comfortable for you as possible.

AMANAH offer leverage to other existing health care organisations and carer's or families supporting someone who suffers from an eating disorder or other mental health condition, our service aims to offer families or carer's a break from the demands of their role or perhaps support with the best course of assessment and treatment options.
For our respite service, we offer 24hr care 7 days a week. We ensure our clients feel safe, are supported by a therapeutic environment and have the facilities necessary to assist a steady recovery.
TAILORED CARE & SUPPORT
Management, Assessment, Treatment & Recovery Support
Our team of qualified staff at AMANAH aim to understand each client on an individual basis, to find the best suitable care for you. When it comes to eating disorders and mental health support needs, we never work to a 'one shoe fits all' mindset as everybody is unique.
We offer a private service that provides a safe place for individuals to reach out to us. We offer increased choice for ED and MH service, we are flexible and accommodating to individual needs. Sessions are determined based on the level of our clients ability, proactiveness and individual needs -- that can range from one 45 minute session over the course of 12-20 weeks.
QUALIFIED WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
This means that our staff have been trained with the relevant qualifications and training with patients who have experienced poor MH and/or needed ED support. Our staff are licensed and registered which means you can expect the most reliable care from professionals who are experienced in ED and MH for a more empathetic approach.
SERVICES TAILORED TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS AND LIFESTYLE
AMANAH provides a stepdown service which means we can offer extended support to individuals who have been discharged from hospital treatment and need that little bit more.
AMANAH can support you around your lifestyle whether that be at college, university, around work or other social activities.
INDIVIDUAL & GROUP COUNSELLING
Research suggests that individuals are more likely to recover around peers experiencing the same or similar difficulties to them. Our individual and group counselling is supported by warm, welcoming and friendly staff ready to help you navigate your recovery. its as simple as filling out a self referral form.
